French food

We went to this French restaurant called Au Cinquième Péché on avenue Mont-Royal East, at the corner of Drolet street. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, it's small and cozy and most important the French waiters are friendly. What I like about this restaurant, other than the good food and friendly service, is that it runs on paperless menu, i.e. the menu is written on this huge black chalkboard on the wall. The waiters are also helpful to translate into English the French menu.

The lunch menu comes in set ranging from $18-$20. The entree is either a soup or salad:

The other sets (not in pictures) are baked salmon and pork chop.

Quebec beer:

Dessert with tea or coffee.

You can view the interior design of the restaurant on their Facebook fan page. The black and white cartoons on the wall were manually drawn by an artist!

After lunch, we dropped by to a bakery shop next door. Hmmm hmmm good.
