My friends from overseas came for a visit. They decided to try out the Malaysian durian because they heard that Malaysia has the best durian! We went to Jalan Alor (downtown street near Sungei Wang Plaza) to try out the king of fruit at the stall.
It's their first time trying out fresh Malaysian durian. Their verdict? The taste is super strong (how stronger can it be?), it's quite filling too, and the durian meat is softer than the Thai counterpart.
Remember to eat some mangosteen fruit afterward, as it will help counterbalance the body heat from the durian. If possible, chose mangosteen with green stems, it's fresher.
